I'm looking for an online community that is less teen-oriented and more about discussing art/music/lit and meeting cool people w/ similar interests. Any suggestions?

Is there an online community like myspace but better?
Facebook.com, it is kind of hard to learn how to run it, but when you get the hang of it, there are more adults, more adult subjects. and they have more people that want to do more then customize there layout!
people that actually want to talk!
