Question regarding online community?

Hi there, I have a domain that I don't know what should I do to it.

I have a dream that this will be a community website for programmer and designer where they can share the achievement that they have, eg : showing a design work, show a program / website, where there will be a screen shot, video demo, etc. There will be a forum too, and a place to post his/her portfolio/CV. But, I'm not sure if it's acceptable in internet community, because I know that web developer should have a website already, or web designer have a portfolio too that available online.

That's why I asking here, is it will be acceptable by internet community? or it will just be a dead project?

thank's for your help.

Question regarding online community?
An established, reliable, open-source content management system would be a good start. I highly recommend Drupal. Joomla or Typo3 being some good alternatives.

As to "acceptability"... it's true that web designers should have their own websites. Instead, the type of site you're talking about might be more like... well... Yahoo Answers, except perhaps restricted to web-only design topics. Then a web surfer aka prospective client could get an overview of a person's knowledge by seeing how they've answered previous questions (and perhaps a rating/voting system, which Drupal has available too).
Reply:Ok.... No one is going to answer because you are using big words. The "internet community" does not care to read anything over four sentences that uses words like that. I have no idea what a CV is. Sorry, better luck next time for you!
Reply:well i think that it will be excepted by the internet community!!:]
