Im scared of the online community, can u help me?
try talking to people offline.

online community will look all white and fuzzy after that.
Reply:In order to get over this anxiety you feel, you need to continue to expose yourself to the on-line community. Its called expose therapy.
Reply:well that's a first, i feel more nervous when talking 2 people face 2 face or on the phone... the cool thing about the net is u can be completely annonymous, no 1 knows who u r, so it doesn't really matter.... well that's how i look at it anyway :)
Reply:Why would you want to do something you are afraid of? It's simple ...don't go there yet.
Reply:dude they cant see you so just type away, and if u are worried about what they are going toing to say then just log off im sure there will be an off line waiting then u can read it when ur read to.........i found it easier to talk on here then i dont have to be embaressed about what someone will say lol
Reply:Psychologists will tell you that if you want to overcome a fear, do what you are afraid of repeatedly, without fleeing from it, and you will eventually cease to be afraid.

This is called "Exposure and Response Prevention" and it's used in phobias and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Avoiding things you're afraid of only makes the fear worse.
Reply:I know its hard but just relax and try to have fun. Unless you are trying to talk to a girl you shouldn't feel awkward. Don't worry they cant see you they don't know what your like just go with the flow.
Reply:You may be taken aback by the anonymity of the communication.
Reply:huhhhhhhhh...... are you afraid now? .................................because you are on a online community. lol......stop.... ok, now the community cant do anything to you, well they can give you a reply or answers. thats all.
