What are some good online forums for people getting ready to start a career in computer programming?

Online community/forum for computer programmers?
There are scores of different computer programming languages out there on scores of different computer platforms being used in scores of different applications in scores of industries (you do the math for the different combinations)
Each combination has one or more on-line discussion group for people involved there. You need to narrow your focus from "this topic in general" to something specific, such as
Computer Language = COBOL
Data Base platform = ORACLE
Industry = Frozen Foods for Restaurants
Application = e-commerce
Then, when you have specified what it is you know, or want to get better at, then you can focus in on the relevant discussion lists
