like a magazine except online. i dont want some homemade website or somthing i was lookin for "professional" website? know of anything like that?
Is there a website where you can publish your storys for the online community to read?
Quite honestly, it is a very bad idea. The internet is a virtual smorgasbord for plagiarists. True, you own the material, but try proving it and paying for lawyers in a court of law. Also, if you read the fine print at some of these sites, they have the rights to anything published on their site. I learned that one the hard way. Lastly, if you intend to publish this material at any time, you will find that more and more publishers will simply NOT handle material previously posted on the internet. It is just too much of a hassle making sure they have exclusive rights and too expensive for them to waste their legal dept to untangle the messes. So they just wont even read anything posted online. I took my website down long ago and refuse to post anything here despite many requests. It's just not in your best interest to post online anymore. Pax - C
