Counter-strike will always have a thriving community, as will most steam based games. When it comes to a community you can't really go wrong with CS, Team Fortress 2, or even team fortress classic, Day of Defeat, Medal of honor doesn't have the biggest community, but you will play with some of the friendliest kids ever.
